Growing up in a small village in Eastern Germany, I early knew that I wanted to study abroad after highschool. I completed my bachelor's degree in language, literature and cultural studies in the beautiful city of Nantes in France. Parallel to my studies, I tought German as a Foreign Language at seven public elementary schools. In Leipzig, I studied conference interpreting for French and English (M.A.) and graduated in 2012.
In the same year I was appointed as an interpreter for French at the Higher Regional Court of Dresden. In 2013, I worked as a French translator at the Algerian Embassy in Berlin. In the following years, I worked increasingly as a freelance interpreter and translator, which enabled me to expand my customer base, especially in the technical and industrial sectors. From 2015 to 2019, I also worked as an Assistant to the Customs and Immigration Liaison Officer at the Canadian Embassy in Berlin.
